Skatboard Sketchez

I had several concepts in mind when I was working on my skatboard. The ones I was most interested in were the games Pokemon and Bioshock, and also Geometric designs, including the owl. My favorite design was the Gyarados one from Perkemern. The reason for this is that there is an actual meaning behind the design. He is based off of a Japanese legend, where Koi fish who could climb a waterfall would become a majestic dragon and completely transform. I sketched Gyarados (the dragon) coming through a waterfall to symbolize the transformation. I might add its pre-evolution form, Magikarp, to further unify the image.

This is like Gyarados (The Pokemon) and he's liek coming out of a waterfall or something

These are pokeballs or something (and they're like different varieties)
Here's the Adobe owl design and it's cool

These are owls focused on like Geometric designs or something like that and these sketches suck but I made graphic versions that kick booty

This is based off of the smash-hit vidja gaem Bioshock and it's the main bad guy called the Big Daddy and there's a cool quote and designs and stuff so yeah much art

Autobiography - Self Portrait

For my autobiography, I originally intended to use a previous self-portrait I created using optical mixture. However, I decided it would be more appropriate to recreate the design in Adobe Illustrator using the tools available to be more applicable to the Advanced 2D curriculum.

The Original Self-Portrait:

Personal Logo Design

My personal logo reflects the interests included in my Autobiography. I'm pursuing a career in Criminology/Forensic Science, so I made the shape of a police badge. My favorite designers are vector artists (Chris Leavens and Zutto, for example) so I based my design on some of the aspects from their pieces. I chose blue as the main color for the design, since it is my fave color of them all.
